A drunk cyclist caused an accident on Radetzkystraße in Augsburg-Lechhausen on Saturday, September 20, 2025. The 46-year-old collided with a parked vehicle. Police intervened and determined he was significantly intoxicated.

At approximately 12:10 p.m., the cyclist collided with a parked car on Radetzkystrasse, fell, and sustained injuries. Witnesses alerted the police, who investigated the incident on the scene. The breathalyzer test showed a blood alcohol level of just under 2.5 per mille.

The man was taken to a hospital by ambulance for his injuries. Whether the accident caused any property damage has not yet been determined. Police have initiated an investigation into drunk driving.
